MathConcept's First Steps programme targets kindergarten learners. To enhance your child's interest in Mathematics, MathConcept uses a distinctive combination of mental, verbal, visual, tactile and written methods to introduce fundamental mathematical concepts. This well-rounded programme also includes topics that are widely applicable in their daily life, such as money, time and attributes.

MathConcept Primary Math Programme

Understanding Mathematics in Primary School is very important as it is the foundation to future Math studies. In MathConcept Primary Math Programme, students advance progressively from mastering basic number facts and developing numerical fluency to more challenging topics like fractions, decimals and percentages. This programme helps students build their number sense and shows them how math can work in a way that makes sense.

MathConcept Lower Secondary Math Programme

Lower Secondary Mathematics acts as the basic foundation for advanced mathematical studies such as algebra, geometry, trigonometry, probabilities and calculus. Basic mathematical skills will also be needed for other subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science and Economics. As such, it is important for students to master the required mathematical concepts.

However, due to the difference in syllabus and teaching methods between the Primary and Secondary levels, many students find it challenging to excel in Secondary Mathematics. A word problem, which requires model drawing method to solve in Primary levels, would require algebraic method to solve in Secondary levels. Hence, MathConcept has designed two courses to cater to different needs of lower secondary students.

Transition Programme

Understanding that the syllabus and teaching methods in Primary and Secondary levels are different, the Transition Programme aims to help Lower Secondary Express students transit smoothly from Primary to Secondary Mathematics. We help students to understand the connection between the different teaching methods, create an in-depth understanding of new concepts and build a strong mathematical foundation, which would aid them in their Upper Secondary Mathematics.

Bridging to Express

MathConcept's Bridging to Express course is specially designed for Lower Secondary Normal Academic students, with the ultimate aim of helping them excel in their examinations and thus boosting their chances in promoting to the Express stream. It is not only effective in helping the students build a strong mathematical foundation, it also identifies and clears possible misconceptions that the students may have.

Elementary Mathematics (E Math) is one of the most important O level subject. Other than it being the determining subject for most Polytechnic courses, it also consists of fundamental concepts that are needed to excel in H1 and H2 Mathematics in Junior College. MathConcept E.Math Programme trains students to be familiar with important mathematical formulae and understand how and when to use them.

MathConcept A.Math Programme

Additional Mathematics (A Math) is a challenging subject for many students. It involves complex mathematical concepts that students may find it hard to understand, and thus unable to apply them. MathConcept A.Math Programme focuses on conceptual understanding, enabling the students to apply the concepts appropriately. Furthermore, through the understanding of how these concepts can be applied in real-life, students also develop a genuine interest in the subject.
